TAG Heuer Monaco Skeleton Original Blue

The TAG Heuer Monaco Skeleton Original Blue CBL2182 reinterprets the legendary Monaco design through a contemporary skeletonized construction. Reference CBL2182.FT6235 takes inspiration from the original Monaco blue dial while exposing elements of its mechanical architecture beneath the open-worked dial.

The cool blue skeleton dial incorporates red and white highlights, creating a modern interpretation of the iconic color scheme associated with the original Monaco. The square-shaped case preserves the distinctive identity that has defined the collection since 1969.

Inside, the watch is powered by TAG Heuer’s in-house TH20-00 automatic chronograph movement. The movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour / 4Hz and provides an 80-hour power reserve. It features a column wheel and vertical clutch, with functions including a 1/4-second chronograph, 30-minute counter, 12-hour counter and date.

The case measures 39mm in diameter, 13.8mm in thickness, with a 22mm lug distance. It is made from Grade 2 titanium with a sandblasted finish and provides 100m water resistance. A sapphire caseback offers a view of the movement.

The watch is completed with a distinctive blue embossed leather and rubber strap featuring a textile-pattern finish and a Grade 2 titanium double-security folding clasp.

The TAG Heuer Monaco Skeleton Original Blue takes its visual inspiration from the original Monaco blue dial and transforms it into an intricate skeletonized design.

The cool blue dial is combined with red and white highlights, producing a strong motorsport-inspired appearance while allowing the mechanical components underneath to become part of the visual design.

39mm Grade 2 Titanium Case

The square 39mm case is manufactured from Grade 2 titanium with a sandblasted finish.

TH20-00 Automatic Chronograph

The TAG Heuer Calibre TH20-00 is an in-house automatic movement and an evolution of the Heuer 02 architecture.

It operates at 4Hz / 28,800 vph and provides an 80-hour power reserve. The chronograph uses a column wheel and vertical clutch, while bidirectional winding helps provide faster rotor response.

TAG Heuer specifies decorative finishing including Côtes de Genève bridges, a rhodium-plated column wheel and colimaçonné detailing on the oscillating weight.

Blue Leather and Rubber Strap

The watch features a blue embossed leather and rubber strap with a textile-pattern finish.
